The Misura Precision AEG Service Kit nears completion…

The launch of our website has been a real success and we’ve been pleased with the feedback we’ve received so far. It’s been encouraging to see the response from the community, and it’s given us confidence as we move forward.

Alongside the website, we also set out to release our flagship product: the Misura Precision Systems AEG Service Kit. This kit represents our straightforward, no-nonsense approach to AEG servicing. It’s designed to give players and technicians the ability to maintain their replicas to the same standards we expect from our own work — removing guesswork and unnecessary variables from the process.

The kit contains everything required for a proper, professional AEG service. Inside you’ll find seventy precision-etched shims manufactured from high-grade, etched 304 stainless steel, selected for their dimensional stability and resistance to deformation. To address compression consistency, the kit includes two FKM (Viton) piston O-rings and three FKM (Viton) cylinder head O-rings, chosen specifically for their durability, heat resistance, and long-term sealing performance.

We’ve also included two purpose-designed lubricants — one formulated for compression components and another for gears and drivetrain parts — along with a precision application brush to ensure lubricants are applied correctly and sparingly where needed.

Every component in this kit was selected with standardisation in mind. One of our core objectives was to create a repeatable servicing baseline: known shim profiles, proven sealing materials, and lubricants matched to their operating environments. This allows consistent results across multiple builds and removes much of the trial-and-error often associated with AEG maintenance.

As with all our products, the kit has undergone extensive in-house testing. The results have been excellent. The shims retained their profile under prolonged use, the lubricants maintained their viscosity and performance characteristics, and compression stability remained consistent throughout testing. Most importantly, our best setup recorded an FPS variation of just 1.4 FPS between shots — a clear indicator of a well-balanced drivetrain and a properly sealed compression system.

Consistency isn’t just a number on a chronograph. It directly impacts reliability, efficiency, sound signature and long-term component wear. Tight FPS variance is one of the clearest signs that an AEG has been assembled and maintained correctly, and that’s exactly what this kit is designed to help achieve.

The Misura Precision Systems AEG Service Kit isn’t about chasing headline figures — it’s about building a solid, reliable foundation. Whether you’re maintaining your own rifle or working on multiple replicas, this kit provides the control, consistency, and confidence needed to service an AEG properly, every time.
